My husband Made enquiries regarding a reconditioned stairlift required for my in laws just before Christmas 2024. The stairlift was installed just after New Year and is being used to its fullest capability. Had my stair lift fitted today by Gary, who is very professional, and a throughly nice guy. He arrived bang on time and explained everything so clearly. No mess left behind, which isn't always the case when you have tradesmen in your home. I'm not your typical person of a certain age who you would expect to require a stair lift, but following a freak accident in which I suffered a very bad break to my leg and ankle, which prevented me from being able to access my upstairs bathroom (trust me, we take these simple daily lives for granted). Initially I had looked into renting a stair lift from Acorn, who quoted £1300 for a minimum 6 months rental, but for half that price, Stairlift Express supplied my own, which will future proof my home in later years. 18 months guarantee and a free service after that, what's not to like. Also not forgetting Hannah who kept up regular communication and made the whole process stress free. Thank you all for restoring my dignity. Commodes do serve a purpose, but for someone who is as independent as myself, and relying on family members to see to the cleaning up, goes against the grain. Don't stereotype stair lift use, people of any age can use the benefit during anytime in their life. Dignity is priceless.

Very disappointed,fantastic when they fitted our lift 3 years ago ,but called yesterday as the lift stopped working we think something to do with one of sensors and my 87 year old Mum was stuck not being able to get to the bathroom or to bed ,sadly we were told no one could come out for a week as priority goes to those who have a warranty ??

Customers who take out an extended warranty or have our fantastic initial free of charge 18 month warranty receive priority call outs should you experience a fault, If you choose not to take a warranty we will still attend when we have an engineer available.
